DEVELOPMENT OF MOND, KAKI AND BUSHGAN OIL FIELDS

Contractors:

Inter Naft Gas Prom Pars Company (INGP) - to develop and integrate the three fields method BuyBack.

Field name: Mond

Field introduction:

Exploration activities started in 1931 for the first time in well no.1. It continued in Asmary and Bangestan layers in depth 1167 m.After that exploring and drillings were continued for appraising the lower layers and finding the gas sources on wells no.2 to no.5 between the years 1959 to 1977.The main exploring of heavy oil in Mond mountain started on well no.6 in the year 1984 in Sarvak layer and it became completed in depth 1450m in May 1985. Our mission is to prepare Master Development Plan based on the data submitted by NIOC, negotiating Buy Back Contract and start drilling re-entry & new wells after Service Contract is signed and initiated to us. We have appointed one land rig 2000hp for this field. We are using the latest available technology for drilling, producing & transporting this heavy crude oil. This field will be developed in two phase consisting of early production, first &second phase of this project.

Field General information:

The fields are located in low depth. The dimensions of anticline of Mond Mountain are heavy. This field is located near-by Persian Gulf and suitable for export.
Field highlights:
Abnormal heavy oil high pressure layer
Field location:
Mond mountain - Genaveh port =148.91 km
Mond mountain - Zaqheh field =217.93 km
Mond mountain - Boushehr airport =71.05 km
Mond mountain - Boushehr port =70.06 km

API No:14o in upper Sarvak and 10o in Jahroum
Early production:2,000 bopd
First phase:Target Up to 3,000 bopd
Second phase:Target Up to 10,000 bopd
Existing well No.:Eight
Existing well production rate & data: One
Planned well No: Ten

Field name:Kaki

Field history:The exploration well in this field was drilled in 1973 and resulted in oil discovery in Asmari Formation and Bangestan Group. The result of the tests was negative in Khami Group. Asmari reservoir has a surface closure of 29Km2 and oil column of 198m. This formation in this field is divided into 5 zones out of which zones no 1, 4 and 5 are producing ones. Their average porosity is 14%, water saturation 33% and the ratio of net to gross thickness is 7%. This reservoir contains 371MMbbl oil with 25.4 API degrees, 148Bcfg in place gas; the amount of H2S has been reported to be very slim. Producing capability is 2MBD for each well and recoverable coefficient is to be 6% in Asmari Formation. The oil-water contact is at -1737m depth. The Bangestan reservoir has surface closure of about 30km2 and oil column is 228m. This reservoir contains 384MMbbl oil with 28.3 API degrees and the H2S is 1.3 weight % and 236Bcf in place gas. The producing capability is 2.5MBD for each well and coefficient recovery of 8% is considered for it. Oil water contact in Bangestan reservoir is at -2939.8m depth. This filed development will be in two phases with early production of this project.

Field General information:

Field location:
The Kaki oil field is located the southeast of Khurmuj town, 20km northeast of Kuh-e Mond and south of Khurmuj anticline. The Kuh-e-Kaki anticline is a simple onshore structure exhibiting four-way dip closure, 70km east of the coastal Bushehr structure and 20km NE of Kuh-e-Mand, in the North Fars area . One well drilled as Kaki#1 from Asmari to Bangestan and Khami was drilled .Tests clarified 2 oil bearing zones in Asmari and Sarvak.
Kaki mountain - Genaveh port = 190.45 km
Kaki mountain - Zaqheh field =258.57 km
Kaki - Boushehr airport =116.00 km
Kaki - Boushehr port =115.81 km

Field name: Boushgan

Field history: The BN#1 was discovered in BUSHGAN field in 1963. It is located 100 km to the south west of Shiraz, 100 km to the east of Bushehr port and 30 km away from Dalan gas field. The structure is 45 km long and its width ranges from 3 to 10 km. Only the Asmari limestone was hydrocarbon-bearing and was tested to 1,100 stb/d production rate through airlifting. The well reached TD in the Jurassic Surmeh Formation. This field drilling will be started at Second phase of project.
